Each year, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) National Magnet Conference^® and ANCC Pathway to Excellence Conference^® raise funds to support a nonprofit located within the conference’s host city and the American Nurses Foundation.

This year, the co-located conferences seek to raise approximately $50,000 to be shared with a local charity – the PHL Cares Fund, and the American Nurses Foundation through a text-to-give campaign challenge. Approximately half of the total funds raised (that’s projected to be $25,000!) will go to PHL Cares.

PHL CARES FUND

PHL Cares is a business-led initiative investing in pathways to housing solutions that is changing lives of those in need of shelter and a path towards independence.  Contributions to the PHL Cares Fund  help provide long-term housing for those suffering from chronic homelessness.

American Nurses Foundation

The American Nurses Foundation is the 501(c)(3) affiliate of the American Nurses Association and the ANCC. The Foundation’s leadership development programs, nursing research, and innovative projects empower nurses and the nursing profession. During the Magnet and Pathway conferences, donations to the Foundation will support the Foundation’s Health and Well-Being programs for nurses and transforming workplace culture to promote greater well-being. Healthier nurses lead to healthier communities. Caring for nurses translates back into exemplary care for patients since it increases nurses’ capacity to pour themselves into their absolutely critical work. Learn more at givetonursing.org.
